The 2022 Farmers Market tour has begun!
The first market was on the coldest and windiest day OKC has seen in a few weeks but it was nice to get outside and get my products on display. It would have been a great day to have my whipped lotions out since they wouldn't melt but I didn't have any prepped for sale, bummer!
Each market is an opportunity for me to interact not only with my community but it was also awesome to meet other vendors. This was my first time as a vendor and the others were so friendly. It was so cool to hear how the others got their start in the products they sell. I met a young woman who sells candles (I definitely bought one), there was a salsa truck, and the folks who run the event sell started plants and produce. I also met some apiarists who teach beekeeping classes and - since I got my first hives this year - I'm glad to have a local resource now!
I debuted my Emulsified Sugar Scrubs at this event and was so proud of the response they got. The scrubs are so much fun to make, the end result is amazing, and I'm thinking of changing these from "limited run" to regular inventory. I'd like to make a bundle with a soap, a scrub, and a lotion. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in let me know!
Thank you for your support and I will post again soon!
